Dr. Futch
J. Pearce Futch, DPM, DABPM, FACFAS is a native of Lowndes County, Georgia. Dr. Futch earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During his second year of medical school, Dr. Futch was selected to complete his clinical training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas, one of the leading centers of diabetic foot care and limb salvage. During his time at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Dr. Futch trained with world-renowned foot and ankle surgeons Dr. Lawrence Harkless and Dr. Thomas Zgonis. It was also here where Dr. Futch had the distinct honor of working with Dr. Tiffany Anthony, a noted transplant surgeon now practicing in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Futch then completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency at the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center, working with over forty foot and ankle surgeons across the greater Atlanta area.
After graduating residency, Dr. Futch took a position at a busy podiatric medical and surgical practice in Tampa, Florida, where he was on staff at Tampa General Hospital. After practicing in South Georgia for 5 years, Dr. Futch decided to move to Jacksonville area to open his own practice.
Dr. Futch is committed to treating patients conservatively prior to considering surgery and to providing personal attention to each patient in the decision making process. He is dedicated to helping you return to complete foot and ankle health.
Dr. Futch has active staff privileges at Baptist Medical Center Downtown and Baptist Medical Center South.
Dr. Futch is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
